The Loreley Wine Trail starts at the Loreley Visitor Center. From there, walk across the parking lot through the exit gate and across the street to a barrel floor with the inscription "Loreley Wine Trail". Continue along this path. After a short time you will reach the Loreley-Edel vineyard.

A total of 20 panels provide detailed information about steep slope wine growing in the Middle Rhine Valley, about the different grape varieties and the painstaking work of the winegrowers in the steep vineyard. From the Loreley plateau, you can take the Rheinsteig trail to the Spitznack Viewpoint, which offers a magnificent view of the Loreley and the narrow Middle Rhine Valley.

Along the way, there are several boards of the Deutsche Bahn AG, which inform about the cultural landscape care with goats and sheep as well as about fauna and flora in the "World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley". The Loreley Wine Trail is therefore also recommendable in several respects: scenically, viticulturally and for information about current measures in the Middle Rhine Valley.
